Vascular Surgical Department

Brief Introduction

The Department of Vascular Surgery (Minimally Invasive Intervention Center) is a key discipline of Sichuan province. We are authorized to award master’s degree on vascular surgery. We have a number of excellent vascular surgeons and 45 beds. Our treatment is characterized by integrative medicine and minimally invasive treatment, and thousands of vascular surgeries and interventional treatment have been successfully completed every year.

Our department is led by a doctor with overseas study in USA and has more than 20 medical staff, including 1 chief physician (professor), 3 associate chief physicians (associate professors), 6 attending physicians and residents, 1 deputy chief nurse and 2 supervisor nurses.

We have 40 beds, 6 monitoring beds, 1 DSA catheter room, 1 laser occluder imported from Italy, 1 medtronic radio frequency therapeutic instrument from America, 1 Nanjing Yigao microwave therapeutic instrument, 2 vascular ultrasound, 1 arteriosclerosis monitor, 1 percutaneous oxygen partial pressure monitor, 1 ultrasonic debridement knife, 1 defibrillator and 8 ECG monitors.

We carry out endovascular repair of thoracic and abdominal aorta, interventional therapy of lower extremity artery, carotid stent / endarterectomy, renal artery stent, minimally invasive surgery for varicose veins of lower extremities, daytime operation, and treatment of lymphedema. Thousands of vascular surgeries and interventional treatments are completed every year. We are committed to building an international exchange platform for vascular diseases. Doctors all have overseas study experience such as in the United States and Europe. Furthermore, we have invited several well-known foreign experts for academic exchange. We apply the most advanced techniques of vascular surgery in clinical practice, which can significantly reduce organ function damage, amputation, stroke and even death caused by vascular diseases.
