Dominant diseases and diagnosis and treatment techniques

Dementia

Combining the vascular and nerve unit of modern medicine, especially both prevention and treatment, we adopt new techniques such as vascular screening, genetic testing, neurobiochemistry, functional magnetic resonance, event evoked potential, and neuropsychological examinations. We innovated the theory of essence-blood-marrow and created the method of replenishing the kidney and invigorating blood. Based on the theory of kidney replenishing, we extended the theory of essence and blood, deficiency and excess so that the physiological function of "marrow", two pathogenic factors “turbid phlegm and blood stasis" are supplemented.

Insomnia

According to the insomnia theory of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, we establish a complete diagnosis and screening system for psychological and physical conditions. We have a high-quality team of psychotherapists and are equipped with polysomnography and biofeedback therapeutic instrument. Based on TCM syndrome differentiation, we adopt non-drug therapies such as behavioral cognitive therapy, biofeedback therapy, music therapy, Morita therapy, etc. We also adopt characteristic TCM treatments, such as auricular needling, acupuncture, moxibustion, scraping, cupping, herbal fumigation and acupoint application, etc. accompanied with psychological care and medication.

Parkinson's disease

We adopt unique treatments for the clinical manifestations of Parkinson's disease, especially for non-motor symptoms, including cupping along channels, massage, acupuncture, moxibustion, hot TCM compress, herbal fumigation, etc. Based on integrative medicine, we use non-drug therapies, such as Tai Chi, Baduanjin exercises and other traditional health care method so as to improve conditions like imbalance and dysfunction.

Demyelinating disease

Dr. Dimitre, a chemistry professor of Sofia University, Bulgaria, who suffered from multiple sclerosis received pure TCM treatment in our department from June to September, 2016. Acupuncture and moxibustion, massage, herbal bath, cupping and TCM preparations are adopted for him, which play a positive role.
