Basic information

The Nephrology Department I is authorized to award master’s degree on integrative clinical internal medicine of the National Education Commission, the key specialty of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the integrated traditional and western medicine discipline of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the key disease construction department of the national clinical diabetes research base, the GCP base department of the State Food and Drug Administration, the core member unit of the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Chronic Nephropathy Executive director unit of the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Hemodialysis Alliance and a national county-level hospital blood purification training base. It has now become a specialized diagnosis and treatment center that integrates clinical, teaching, and scientific research, and has a group of medical and nursing backbone with strong technical strength and rich clinical experience.

At present, the department has 10 doctors, 3 Chief physician (professors), 2 associate Chief physician (associate professors), 3 attending physicians (lecturers) and 2 residents. There are 3 people with doctoral degrees and 4 people with master's degrees. There are 33 nursing staff, 6 supervising nurses (intermediate level), 17 nurses (junior level), and 10 nurses. The department has 48 designated beds and is equipped with a blood purification center, including 38 hemodialysis machines and 6 blood filtration machines.

Our department takes the integrated diagnosis and treatment of Chinese and western medicine for Chronic kidney disease as the specialty feature, adhering to the "inheritance of essence, integrity and innovation", organically combining the classic of Chinese medicine with kidney disease, and constantly improving the treatment ability of critical and difficult kidney disease. Based on the thought of "treating the disease before it happens" of traditional Chinese medicine, applying the thought of syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, using the combination of rectal drip, fumigation and washing of traditional Chinese medicine, sloughing of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, ear acupuncture, acupoint application, acupoint injection and other external treatment methods with Chinese medicine characteristics, Treatment of various acute and chronic nephritis (IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, purpura nephritis, Lupus nephritis, hepatitis B related nephritis, ANCA related nephritis), nephrotic syndrome, acute and chronic renal failure, secondary nephropathy (diabetes nephropathy, hypertensive renal damage, gout nephropathy, tumor related nephropathy, etc.), idiopathic edema, hematuria, Proteinuria, urinary tract infection, kidney deficiency and low back pain, tinnitus Sperm emission, impotence, premature ejaculation, amenorrhea, and uterine cold have significant therapeutic effects. It emphasizes that "the treatment of both the spleen and the kidney" means "the treatment of Chronic kidney disease and diabetes nephropathy", and has achieved good results through many years of clinical research. Our department actively leverages its own disciplinary characteristics, promotes academic exchange within the region, solves difficult kidney disease diagnosis and treatment problems, and has won the reputation of "integrating Chinese and Western medicine, comprehensive technology, and first-class service" in the local area. The annual outpatient volume of the department reaches over 30000 people, and the annual hospitalization volume is over 1000 people.
